Roundtable Debate Academy is excited to announce our new and improved, enriching, fun, and affordable summer 2026 experience - 2 RDA debate camps & a NEW Mock Trial Curriculum!

Summer 2025 Debate Camp

RDA's Summer 2025 Debate Camp was a two-week intensive designed to rapidly teach relative beginners how to use and compete effectively in the MSPDP format. In every class, students are taught a new debate mechanism and participate in debates both in large group settings and smaller breakout room groups.

Summer 2025 Political Engagement Camp

The aim of the political engagement course was to create more youth political engagement. Our highly interactive course covered different topics each day, including the basics of American politics, polarization and the effects of social media, identifying key issues, and how to take action.

Summer 2025 Debate Camp

RDA held a two-week, fluent and bilingual summer camp for 35 middle schoolers. Students learned the Middle Schools Public Debate Program (MSPDP) and frequently debated. At the end of the camp, a tournament was held with 20 students.

Summer 2025 Political Engagement Camp

RDA held a signature two-week-long political engagement class for 15 students. Students learned about gender issues, global conflicts, and the Melian Dialogue rhetoric framework. At the end of the week, each student gave a 5-minute oral presentation on an issue of their choice and the steps they could take to help.

From the Tournament: Speaker Awards!

After the tournament during the 2025 summer debate camp, awards for individual speakers were given out to those who showed amazing skill in debate. The 1st place trophy was awarded to Chris, the 2nd place trophy to Issac, and the 3rd place trophy to Shawn!
